The next sizzling romance in New York Times bestselling author Karen Ranney's Clan Sinclair series...

Logan Harrison is looking for a wife. As the Lord Provost of Edinburgh, he needs a conventional and diplomatic woman who will stand by his side and help further his political ambitions. He most certainly does not need Mairi Sinclair, the fiery, passionate, fiercely beautiful woman who tries to thwart him at every turn. But if she's so wrong for him, why can't he stop kissing her? He is completely bewitched.

Mairi Sinclair has never met anyone like Logan Harrison, the perfect example of everything she finds wrong with the world. He's also incredibly handsome, immensely popular, and impossible to resist. His kisses inflame her and awaken a passion she can barely control.

Can two people who are at such odds admit to a love that would bind them together for life?

I was provided with a copy of this book via Edelweiss

To be honest I usually avoid historical fiction, it has never been my thing but this book has been a pleasant surprise and I am glad I read it, plus it is set in the beautiful country of my birth Scotland in the historic city of Edinburgh, the year is 1872 and things are very different for women.

Mairi Sinclair is our leading lady in this story, a very feisty but extremely loyal woman she has a wealth of compassion and does not let the male dominated world in which she lives in get in her way, arriving at a lecture she is disgusted to find out it is men only and as she leaves she comes across our leading man, Logan Harrison, the Lord Provost, a man who infuriates her.

She is the the editor of the Edinburgh Gazette and in a male dominated profession she hides behind her brothers name to publish her work.

As the Lord Provost, Logan has to lead a respectable life and the choice of his partner is something he needs to consider carefully and Mairi Sinclair certainly does not fit the bill or does she....

This is a great story of two people, two total opposites Mairi is a true fiery Scottish lass and Logan is an ambitious politician but of course opposites attract and this pair have chemistry in spades.

I don't want to give too much away as I want you to go out there and read it but even if you don't like historical romance you will like this, its such a good read and is also part of a series which includes The Devil of Clan Sinclair and the soon to be released Virgin of Clan Sinclair.

Below you will find a great competition to win some goodies and also what happens when I am let loose on Polyvore with tartan in my mind!!

Witch of Clan Sinclair is awarded 4 out of 5

Ok I wanted to do something fun and I thought would would a fiesty woman like Mairi be wearing in the 21st century, this is what I came up with!! What do you think?
