I'm gonna recap my week and give you an idea of what I have coming up plus anything else newsworthy!

Just a very quick post this week as I being good and trying to catch up on my comments and visits!
Nothing exciting of note except two things, one is I got invited to the Pierce Brown Morning Star party but alas it is in London and I can't go. But how awesome would that have been.
Second, it is my blogoversary, two years and they said it wouldn't last!.....
Have a great week!xx

The serialisation of the John Le Carre novel The Night Manager hits UK screens tomorrow and it has a shit hot cast including Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie.
I have received physical and e-copies of some fab books this week, thank you to all the publishers for sending them! Also, some of them are my own purchases, the pics link to Goodreads for you to find

Everything I want to do and visit is in the south of England and I just don't have the money for transport and hotels there! It's frustrating! WHY is there no Harry Potter shop up here eh??? Grr.
ReplyDeleteThere needs to be Chuckles, I mean this is Scotland there is plenty of space for a Harry Potter land!!
DeleteHappy 2 years! Woo hoo! Congrats on the invite... even if you can't go. :( And is that The Princess Bride I see? Yay!
ReplyDeleteThe cover of Arkwright is pretty catching. And I got a laugh out of your funnies too... so true LOL.
Yep I thought I had better get round to reading the Princess Bride!
DeleteThat would have been awesome to go to the Morning Star event! I have yet to read the series, though I admit to owning Red Rising and Golden Son lol. I do hope they are as good as everyone claims and I hope to read them soon!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Yep they are epic, hope you get round to reading soon!
DeleteHappy blogoversary! That's great you've been blogging for two years now! That's too bad you can't go to the Morning Star Party, it doesn't happen often that an event is actually in europe. Enjoy your new books and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lola!
DeleteDown and Out in the Magic Kingdom looks more than interesting! Yay for A Darker Shade of Magic. Too bad you couldn't go to the Morning Star party. Pierce is very easy on the eyes. Hehe. I bought the last book of The Knife of Never Letting Go trilogy because the ebook was $1.99, now if only the first two would go on sale. Ha ha. Have a fabulous week. :)
ReplyDeleteHe is indeed! Meh, maybe next time, at least I made it on the list!!!
DeleteGoing to the Pierce Brown event would have been BOMB Heather. I need to look up ARKWRIGHT. Hope your week is simply amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt would have been epic!!!

DeleteHappy blogoversary! That's great about the Morning Star Party even though you couldn't go. I think just getting invited would have made my week! You got some great books. I'd really like to read Princess Bride. The movie is one of my favorites but I've never read the book. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen the film or read the book but my youngest saw the film at a party and keeps going on about it, thought I better read it!
DeleteI wish there was more book events where I am but alas there's not LOL. Yay for 2 years. Have a great week
