The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Kimba at the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
I am going to recap my week, ramble about books and give you an idea of what I have coming up plus anything else newsworthy!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well!
A super quick Sunday Post this week as I really need to clean my house that has suffered from my back to back reading of The Twelve and City of Mirrors by Justin Cronin.
You may (or may not!) have noticed I look a little different, yes I have got a shiny new coat (template) and it is still in its infancy as I tweak it but I love it, hell I even have a drop down menu under categories!! Anyway please bear with me whilst I tweak!
It is hot here in Scotland which means "Taps Aff" (say in a Scottish accent, should translate as tops off!) so lots of ghostly white men are wandering about now sporting bright red sunburn!
Have a good week!

THE SUN!!!!
My picks from this week in years gone by!!
I have received physical and e-copies of some fab books this week, thank you to all the publishers for sending them! Also, some of them are my own purchases, the pics link to Goodreads for you to find out more!
Happy Sunday!

Hey nice new look! I like it. :) And you got sun too? Yay for summer... it's been nice (mostly) around here too. I might want to read that time travel anthology, that looks fun.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week! :)
Thanks Greg!
DeleteOoh I love the new look! I noticed it right away and thought it looked great :-D
ReplyDeleteGood luck with all your house cleaning and blog tweaking and have a great week!
Thanks Kristin!
DeleteI like the new look :) Good luck on cleaning. It's the bane of my existence (too dramatic?) I hate to clean! I always find something else to do. Though of course for me cleaning now consists of purging and packing for our move. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
Thanks Lillian!
DeleteI am curious about your haul and must investigate. LOL on all the fair haired men with sunburns! Yay on your marathon read...I love that trilogy!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kimba!
DeleteLooking good! Everyone is going for the clean look and I really love it. I am still playing with fonts, myself. I really do want backyard chickens! I still need to finish my spring cleaning. Have a wondergul week. :)
ReplyDeleteOne day you will get your chickens, don't give up on them!!
DeleteI like your new design, I was quite surprised to see your blog look so differently when I arrived, but it really fits your blog.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty warm here too. I hope you'll enjoy your new books and have a great week!
Thanks Lola!
DeleteThe red sunburned men totally cracked me up! I can totally see it. I hope you love the new look. I still need to tweak a few things on my site. It takes time and sometimes patience and I've been swamped. I'll get there eventually. Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic week!

Thanks Tressa!
DeleteI don't recognize anything in your haul. I should check them out.
ReplyDeleteDon't get sunburned! We are actually supposed to get in the 90s this week. I hope it doesn't get any hotter!
Happy Reading! <a href="http://paulettespapers.com/?p=11241”>Dani @ Paulette’s Papers</a>
Thanks Dani!
DeleteHear hear to being excited for the sun. :) Reading should totally be an Olympic sport - it takes discipline and the ability to shun any and all social engagements that get between you and your book. Sounds like a sport to me. ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't think there would be enough gold medals to go round!
DeleteI like your new look...I always enjoy tweaking my blogs, too.
ReplyDeleteAll Together Now looks like a book I might get into. Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.
Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteLove the new look! I thought it was different :) Enjoy all your new books and have a great week!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Grace!
DeleteEnjoy your interesting books!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThe new coat looks nice! I like the pink! I love pink...who am I kidding LOL
ReplyDeleteLooks like I would fit in with the pale Scottish men LOL
Thanks Penni!
DeleteIt so happens the bathroom hasn't been cleaned today on account of being in the middle of The Passage - I just hope Homes and Gardens doesn't get to hear of Justin Cronin's devastating effect on the state of our houses... But as the sign used to say over my back door - DULL WOMEN HAVE IMMACULATE HOUSES. Love the new spiffy look and have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI need that sign!!
DeleteLove the look of your blog!
ReplyDeleteThanks Yvonne!
DeleteHey Heather, your blog looks fantastic! It is super sharp, I love it! Taps off! Haha! That is hilarious. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen!
DeleteI love the new look! I've been hearing the best things about Cronin's books lately and it's urging me to push his books closer to the top of my TBR! I own the first two and can't believe I haven't read them yet!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by my Sunday Post! Have a great week! :)

Thanks for stopping by here too!
DeleteCongratulations. I just did a redesign of my blog last month and got a Menu bar with drop downs. It is very exciting.
ReplyDeleteI love it, it is taking a bit of getting used to but I feel it is smoother than what I had before!
DeleteHappy cleaning but good its delay resulted from some binge-reading! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the look of the blog and will have to click on some of the new menu items to suss it all out!
Thanks Deborah!
DeleteI'm so jealous about your new design! I've been wanting to redesign my blog, and your blog looks amazing! Did you design it? It looks like you got some good books this week, and I hope that you enjoy them! :)
ReplyDeleteNo I bought a template from PipDig and installed it, then tweaked to my liking. It was a lot easier than I thought!
DeleteI really the new design! It looks so cool and is a good update to the blog. You've really been working on these little things here and there lately ;)
ReplyDeleteI have, I like to tweak!
DeleteI really like your new design. Very fresh and shiny! Hope you enjoy all of your new books.

Thanks Lauren!
DeleteYour template looks great, Heather! I like your new design. I'm in the process of working on mine. Not sure when the unveiling will be as it still needs some work. It's always fun to get a fresh look, isn't it? My poor husband ended up with a sunburn after the holiday weekend. Poor guy. I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteOuch, sunburn sucks, hope he recovered from it!
DeleteLove the new look! Enjoy your reading week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Debbie!
DeleteYou should've seen the sunburnt plonkers all over Blackpool last week! Ooh a few of them will be suffering a bit! I was covered in sunscreen and am happy to report that I am unburnt, non peeling and feeling quite smug...
ReplyDeleteI smother myself too, nothing worse than having your skin on fire!
