Welcome to my Sunday Post, a weekly meme hosted by
Kimberley over at the Caffeinated Book Reviewer .
Join me as I ramble about my week in and out of the blogosphere.
My name is Heather and it has been an unforgivable four years since my last Sunday Post 😌
This week like a bolt from the blue I was struck with the need to start blogging again quite possibly as a way to distract myself from the world and all that is going on.
Since my last post not much has changed to be honest, I have reached my forties, my kids are turning in to teenagers, my red hair is streaked with grey and I am still reading like crazy especially crime and graphic novels!
I’ve missed sharing books as well as finding out about new ones and also generally being nosy and finding out about peoples lives! I have had good fun digging out my old templates and trying to remember how to post things online.
I hope you are all safe and well, here in Scotland we haven’t had any new coronavirus cases for a few days and there is talk we may be free of it by the end of the summer.
Glad you are back book blogging - it is a lovely community, isn't it? Thank you for swinging by and your kind birthday wishes. Also delighted to hear that your infection numbers have eased right down in Scotland - that would be marvellous news for everyone! It's clearly not going to happen, here... Despite all that - I do hope you have a lovely week - Fangs looks like great fun!
ReplyDeleteI really missed it! In these gloomy times it’s nice to be part of a positive community. No, hopefully things will start to ease of down south, I really hope so, I can’t wait for things to go back to some sort of normal.
DeleteWelcome back Heather
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear covid is on the wane in Scotland as it is here in Australia

DeleteWelcome back Heather! It's nice to see you again :) It's hard sometimes to stay on top of blogging, but it's also very nice once we get going again.

DeleteHi Heather! I am happy to see you're back to blogging. That's great to hear Scotland didn't have any new cases of coronavirus for a few days now. Here in the Netherlands we're doing well with the corona virus as well and very few new cases every day. I hope you'll enjoy your new books!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lola and thanks for stopping by!
