Some of my favourite posts to read are lists, random lists, book lists, lists of favourite chocolates or scary films, you get the idea.
Each week I'm going to pick a topic/book/film/thing and list five things about it - don't expect it to always be favourite things!
This week it is......The last five things I’ve watched on Netflix
Japan Sinks: 2020
Based on a seventies novel, this oneintrigued me so I thought I’ll just watch the first five minutes and see what happens, three episodes later I have seen Tokyo flattened, Okinawa sink and a man blow up. I’m hooked!Kim’s Convenience
Ah I love this, Mr Kim is my total hero. This is such a lovely show and it’s so funny. I wish my local shop was owned by Appa!
Unsolved Mysteries
I believe there was an original version of this which I have never watched, I do like a good mystery so I thought I’d give this a try, I’m only one episode one which is the case of Ray Rivera. He was found dead back in 2006 in Baltimore. I’m intrigued to see if this show sheds light on these cases.
Snowpiercer
So many questions about this. How did they manage to build this 1001 carriage train, surely it must have been freezing cold when they were doing it. It looks like the train goes across water, how did they build the tracks when again it must have been freezing. What powers the train? Is anyone alive in the frozen waste in a bunker? What is the point? These answers don’t keep me awake at night but they do keep me watching.
Somebody Feed Phil
Is he really this happy all the time? Phil Rosenthal eats his way across the world with a plethora of faces expressing his joy in everything he comes across. I don’t think I’ve seen him eat anything yet that he hates. His happiness is contagious.
I love Kim.
