Continuing their first semester at university, fast friends Susan, Esther, and Daisy want to find their footing in life. But in the face of hand-wringing boys, holiday balls, hometown rivals, and the willful, unwanted intrusion of "academia," they may be lucky just to make it to spring alive. Collects issues 5-8.

To recap our lovely trio of ladies are...
- Susan Ptolemy - The one with the most common sense, she keeps the other two on the straight and narrow (most of the time), she’s a bit of a slob and you’ll be happy to learn she’s studying medicine!
- Esther de Groot - Goth goddess, fashion icon, attractor of men and women, drama queen, accident prone, student of English lit. Loyal friend. Life of the party.
- Daisy Wooton - She is said to 50% hair and 100% not ready for this world, she is sweet and innocent, raised by her loving granny. She is struggling a little with her sexuality and is definitely not prepared for drinking and partying. Archaeology student.
Volume 3 has election madness! The current student union president is quite frankly a posh t**t who’d rather ski that deal with student problems. Ed, now working at the student rag uncovers the deception within the students union and an election takes place.
Susan somehow gets herself involved with campaign managing the competition, this turns her into a crazy person who stays awake all night and lives in a dream state - it also spells the death of her and McGrath’s relationship as she stupidly neglects him choosing to concentrate on her campaign instead of taking five minutes to talk to him.
Esther, Ed, Daisy and McGrath go on out the lash with Esther’s visiting friend, of course it doesn't end well with a trail of fire and vomit behind them.
Volume 3 shows the girls bonding at their best as Daisy and Esther rally together to help Susan mend her broken camp by taking a camping trip - bless their hearts, if I was them I’d feel safer never leaving my dorm!
I really can’t fault this series so far, it is quite frankly awesome and also I think my favourite comic series ever!
On to volume 4!
