Trev, Kent, and Brian are allegedly friends, but are best known as the backbiting hosts of the popular ghost hunting show, Ghost Bros. With ratings falling and competition rising, they gamble it all on the Chernobyl of haunted locations: Edgeway Penitentiary.

Armed only with a bag of cameras, some sick tattoos and absolutely zero scientific knowledge, the Ghostbros find conclusive proof of the afterlife at Edgeway... After they die and come back as ghosts themselves, trapped there with the angry ghosts who killed them!

A year later, as film crews arrive for an anniversary memorial special hosted by their most hated rivals, the Ghostbros have to be the best DEAD DUDES they can be, in order to prove to the world that ghosts exist (Oh yeah—and to save the living from a ghostly armageddon, but whatever).

Ghost Bros is that show on your local network that was popular but is now past its sell by date, its three hosts are in denial and want one last jolly to prove they are the best ghost hunters on the block.

Meet Trev, Kent and Brian, the hosts behind Ghost Bros, the network has given them their marching orders so they decide to head out to the one place they never dared visit.....The Edgeware Penitentiary

A place that holds a horrific past and hopefully for the Ghost Bros a load of spectral beings that they can film to boost their ratings. They rock up with all the gear they could possibly need and get their producer to lock them in, lets just say, not only do they get their footage, they also get a one way ticket to the after life.

Being dead isn’t the worst part, they are sharing it with bloodthirsty inmates, a psycho nurse and crazy warden.  It goes from bad to worse when a year later their deadly rivals the Parawarriors turn up ready to steal their glory, the Ghost Bros are not going to take it lying down.  They are going to use their new ghostly skills to stick it to the Parawarriors and hopefully prevent the bloodthirsty ghosts from escaping in the process.

Dead Dudes is definitely a fun, don’t take too seriously read.  It’s a colourful book and flows nicely, the horror is subtle so don’t worry you will get sleep after reading it.  The only thing that annoyed me about it was the bleep out swearing, there was too much of it, just swear already - that’s just me though I have a mouth like a sailor!

Thanks to NetGalley for providing me with a copy in exchange for an honest review.
