Day 5 of Beware of Readers #BestReadsof2020,
Apologies I’ve had to change my formatting of the post as I’ve had some issues!
Best LGBTQ has to be for me Alice Isn’t Dead by Welcome to Night Vale creator Joseph Fink. I listened to the audiobook version of this and the story gripped me from the start. The story of truck driver Keisha and her travels across the US seeking her wife Alice ticks all my boxes, it’s scary, it’s sad, it’s daft, it’s compelling listen. I loved it.
Alice Isn't Dead is awesome! Have you listened to the podcast? :)
ReplyDeleteI’m starting it!
DeleteAlice Isn't Dead sounds fascinating, and I'm glad that Lauren has mentioned above that there is a podcast. I'll be looking into both. I've been thinking of listening to an Agatha Christie audiobook as well, so my TBR is getting full.
ReplyDeleteThere is a podcast, the other podcast they do Welcome to Night Vale is great too!
DeleteFor this category mine would be Cantoras by Carolina de Robertis.
ReplyDeleteI don’t know that one, I’ll check it out!
DeleteI listened to the first episode, I can't wait to listen to more!
