Day 22 of Sophie at Beware of Readers
#BestReadsof2020
Best Debut Novel is ......Pine by Francine Toon, a spooky story set in the Highlands of Scotland. The book explores the life of a young girl and her father, the countryside they live in and the creepy goings on. I enjoyed this book a lot, the language in it appealed to me too as there was plenty of words that I use in everyday that you don’t see often in other books. Review hopefully next year!
I'd love to read this at some point. I read a lot of debuts this year but my favorite was The Phlebotomist😁
