Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop's purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.
Question
What book series would you like to see adapted by Netflix
(submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)
Answer
I love the world of Hugh Howey’s Wool, as well as reading the main books I have also read a lot of the silo stories by other authors. This world would be amazing on screen, the vast silos themselves would look out of this world.
Rumours have been flying about for years about its coming to the small screen, whether it happens or not is another thing but hopefully Netflix or Amazon could do it justice. It would probably have to be a season for each book and knowing these networks they would probably add more bits in that aren’t in the books!
What would you like to see on the screen
This is a new one to me. I hope you can stop by:

It’s a great series!
DeleteI never heard about that series of books but I'm interested, thanks ! I think I'd like The Murderbot by Martha Wells adapted... well, on any screen ;)
ReplyDeleteTotally Murderbot would be so good!
DeleteA graphic novel seems like it would be a no brainer for an adaptation. Just off the top of my head, I would enjoy any book from Sara Paretsky who writes a crime thriller series with a kick ass PI set in Chicago to be adapted to film.
ReplyDeleteAnything crime makes for good tv!
DeleteI am unfamiliar with Wool, but the trailer certainly has me curious! It sounds like something I would watch on the small screen if it was made into a series! I hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt’s a great series, one of my favourite book series in fact!
DeleteI don't know this one but it sounds good! I'm not sure what books I'd like to see adapted. There are so many that I think would be great but then of course there's always the risk they'll screw it up!
ReplyDeleteI know! I remember my panic when Lord of the Rings was adapted!
DeleteI am not familiar with the series, but I hope it actually happens for you
ReplyDeleteOne day I hope!
DeleteI hope you get what you want! I couldn't get into this book at all but I know it was popular so they should adapt it.
ReplyDeleteThe first time I read it I couldn’t get past chapter one but when I tried again I was hooked.
DeleteThe Inkworld (Inkheart) series. The movie that was made was trash. 😛
ReplyDeleteI’ve never read it, I maybe should!
