Friday Face Off - My favourite book from my teen years!

The Friday Face Off meme created was by Books by Proxy and is now hosted by Lynn’s Books.

Its a great way to show some of your favourite book covers. The rules are fairly simple each week, following a predetermined theme, choose a book and compare a couple of the different covers available for that particular book and choose your favourite!  Up to date list of themes at Lynn’s Books

This weeks theme: Middle Grade

I had to look up middle grade as I wasn’t sure what age range it was but figured I could do my most read book from my early teens back in the Middle Ages!  My copy is the very first one from 1983, it was actually my mums but I borrowed it and forgot to give it back to her!  Which is your favourite?

  2. The UK 1983 version is the one I read at the time. Everyone at school watched the tv series as well.

  4. It's been so many years since I read this one, but oh my goodness, how I laughed. Adrian was quite a character. I like the Norway and Netherlands covers.

    1. It’s very very retro now as the first few books are set in the eighties, it’s a funny blast from the past!

  7. That's cool that you read your mom's childhood book. I think I like that cover best, though the Italian one appeals to me as well.
